Cookie Policy

Legal basis

This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / revDSG, in force since 1 September 2023), its Ordinance (DPO), art. 45c of the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TCA) and, where applicable to visitors from the EU/EEA, the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Under art. 45c TCA, storing information on your device is permitted if you are informed about it and told how you can refuse it. Strictly necessary storage does not require consent under the GDPR either.

What we store in your browser

• nelco-lang-choice (local storage): remembers the language you selected (EN, DE or HR). Purpose: strictly necessary for the language feature. Duration: until you clear it. Provider: NelcoLabs (first party).
• i18nextLng (local storage): remembers the language currently displayed. Purpose: strictly necessary. Duration: until you clear it. Provider: NelcoLabs (first party).

This information stays on your device and is not sent to us or shared with anyone. No HTTP cookies are set by NelcoLabs itself.

Third party services

• Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): fonts are loaded from Google servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them. Google states that it does not set cookies for this service.
• Hosting and backend: when you use the contact form or the AI question box, your request is processed by our hosting and backend providers. These services do not set tracking cookies. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

How to refuse or delete storage

You can delete stored data and block cookies or local storage at any time in your browser settings (for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge under Privacy / Site data). If you do so, the website keeps working, but your language choice will not be remembered.

Changes

If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before setting them.
